Labor Day weekend, we took a trip down to California to see our newest nephew's baby blessing. My whole family made the trip down so it turned into a really fun family vacation! We played lots of games, including Ticket to Ride and our family favorite, Rock Band! It was a blast and the babies were all so cooperative. Quinn absolutely loved chasing her older cousins around and acting like a big girl! She got so much better and faster and walking that weekend from following them and playing with them. She slept great the whole weekend and the highlight for her was definitely her first (and second) trips to the beach! She could have lived in the ocean, but unfortunately her Momma and Dadda aren't the biggest fans of the beach and sand and couldn't handle the freezing water temperature like her! She didn't care at all though and would run around in the waves over and over again. It was so fun to watch her.
Little Shane's blessing was beautiful and it was great to have all of the grandkids together. We had so much fun just spending a relaxing weekend with family! And holding and snuggling that little newborn baby definitely got me more excited and anxious to hold and snuggle my little girl on the way!
