Harper - Nine Months

Ah! These months are getting away from me! Harper was nine months a few weeks ago.  Her stats were:

Height: 29 in (90%)
Weight: 19 lbs (50-75%)
Harper is still doing most of the same things as last month, just faster and better.  She is a speedy little crawler and is all over the place and into everything.  She walks all along the furniture and walls and will stand for about one second before getting down from things.  Her balance is getting better and better.  She loves to climb on anything and everything that she can reach.
She has six teeth now and she loves to eat!!  Her favorite times to nurse are when she first wakes up in the morning and especially right before bed at night.  I still nurse her about every 4 hours during the day, but they're just quick feedings before she is distracted and on the move again.  She loves to eat solid foods.  She eats about three Gerber packs a day, all kinds of fruits and vegetables, plus little veggie sticks, yogurt melts, and arrowhead cookies.  She is starting to eat some real food, she will have a pancake every morning and little pieces of our food as we eat.  She loves it!  And her little pincer grasp is perfect!  She is so good at picking up just one piece at a time and putting it in her mouth.

She is a great little sleeper.  She naps for an hour each morning, about 9:30-10:30ish and then for a few hours in the afternoon, about 1:00-4:00ish.  Then she goes to bed around 7:00 and wakes up once or twice each night until she is up for the day around 8:00.

She is not a fan of snuggling or cuddling, way too independent and curious to spend any time doing that.  But I love watching her explore and discover everything around her!
