Again, the perks of Nate's job are just beyond anything we deserve.  Last week he was given tickets to attend Tim McGraw's Superstar Summer Night at the MGM the night after the ACMs. It was actually the taping of the concert, which will air on CBS May 19, and you should seriously go set your DVR right now to record it because it was amazing!

When the night kicked off with Pitbull and then Tim McGraw joined him on stage for his second song, Nate and I looked at each other with huge grins and we were seriously giddy with excitement.  The collaborations were amazing, and little did we know they didn't end there.  Tim was also joined by Ne-Yo for another song, as well as Keith Urban and Taylor Swift for another, and later on in the night Florida Georgia Line was joined by Nelly for one of their songs.  The big finale included a collaboration with John Fogerty, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan all partying on stage together.  Such incredible performances!  We also saw The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Faith Hill, and some solo performances by Tim to finish out the night.

Since it was a taping, they would perform a lot of the songs and then have to do it again a second time to get the right camera shots or to get the crowd more into it or something.  A few times the singers messed up a line in the song or something so they would redo it for that.  It was so much fun to get to see the songs multiple times though!  If you've ever been to a concert, you know that your favorite songs usually tend to end way too soon, so we were excited that we would get to enjoy the songs all over again.

I really could not have asked for anything more out of this concert (except that maybe T Swift would have performed at least just one of her own songs).  It was a good 3.5-4 hours of music entertainment and we had great seats and great company to enjoy it with.  I can't wait to see it on tv and look for myself in the crowd!
