Easter 2014

We had yet another wonderful Easter this year.  The week leading up to Easter was filled with egg hunts, dying eggs, and meeting the Easter bunny, and Quinn loved it all!  She really got the idea of collecting eggs and looking for the candy inside. She had a great time painting her Easter egg and seeing them turn different colors.  When she met the Easter bunny, she quietly sat next to him, looking up at him and waving while he held Harper, who slept through it all.
We had a beautiful Easter Sunday this year with our girls.  They slept in until just an hour before church.  I gave them both baths and got them ready in their Easter dresses before we went downstairs and gave them their baskets.  Quinn loved finding all of her treats and her reading her new book.  We then went to church and enjoyed a beautiful Easter Sunday there where we focused on Christ and the fact that He lives again for us and all that is possibly because of Him.
After church we went to my parent's house, took some family pictures and then put the girls down for naps while I made the macaroni and cheese for dinner.  My sister and her family joined us and we had the most delicious meal, followed by playing out back in the beautiful weather.
It was a great Easter and it was so nice to celebrate with my family and to have Harper with us this year.
